Theresa Soyoung Kim is a filmmaker based in Los Angeles. She is passionate about telling authentic stories, with a background in documentary filmmaking.

Her documentary short was released with CineAsian Films and screened and selected at the Venice Shorts Festival and at Los Angeles Asian Film Awards.

Her storytelling shows the complexity of the human experience within the layers of societal conditioning and expectations. As a Korean American woman in this society, she is passionate to show these perspectives.

As a producer, she has produced fashion editorials for SYSTEM HOMME, Urbanic 30 and Current Air.
